Skincare for everyone, rooted in four generations of knowing what works.

Freeze-dried goat milk from our Nigerian Dwarf herd. Waterless skincare. No preservatives needed. Inspired by the wisdom passed around Della's kitchen table, made today by Lois, our 72-year-old founder, who still checks every batch by hand.

That means butter-enrobed Soaking Stones that turn a bath into a milk soak. Freeze-dried Soaking Pearls that keep the ritual going, jar after jar. Serum Pearls you crush and activate fresh on your skin. And a full facial ritual, from wash to melt, made on our farm in southernmost Illinois, where we know every goat by name and sound.

Made with purpose.

Why goat milk

Goat milk is rich in fats that stay put, and its pH sits close to your skin's. So instead of stripping and stinging, it softens. That's why a goat-milk bath feels different from the first second. And why a goat-milk serum pearl leaves your face feeling like it just drank something.

Farm families have used it on cracked heels, rough hands, and tired skin for generations, long before lab reports caught up. We freeze-dry it fresh from our herd at Bone + Bear Farms, then fold it into anhydrous formulas that don't need preservatives, don't need refrigeration, and won't fall apart in a shipping box.

In our Serum Pearls, the freeze-dried milk becomes a single-dose base you crush and activate with water. Fresh every time. No bottle. No preservative.

  • Rich, creamy feel that cuts through Midwestern winters
  • Gentle on skin that overreacts to everything else
  • From a small herd we know by name, traceable to your jar
  • No water in the formula. Just milk, wax, oils, and botanicals.
  • Freeze-dried bath pearls and serum pearls. Same milk, different rituals.

Meet Lois.

She's 72 and legally blind. She still measures every batch by weight, tests new formulas on her own skin first, and catches texture problems most people would miss with perfect eyesight. Her grandmother Della taught her to make soap. Four generations of knowing what works, and Lois is still refining it today. If a product doesn't hold up to touch, sound, and scent, it isn't done. That's not a limitation. That's the brief every product is built against.

The herd behind your skincare.

Ten winter babies, a stubborn matriarch, and one legally blind founder who still knows each goat by step and sound. Our milk comes from a herd we can call by name.

The Gilded Goat Difference

The farm. The goats. The founder.

Every product starts on 30 acres in southern Illinois. The milk comes from our Nigerian Dwarf herd. We grow botanicals on the same land. And everything's made here. Freeze-dried, poured, pressed, and packed. Small batches. By hand.

Freeze-dried, not liquid →
We dry our goat milk into a fine powder on the farm, then fold it into anhydrous formulas. No big-box jug. No added water. Longer shelf life.
Small batch, every time →
We pour and pack in small runs, then move on. When a batch sells out, it's gone until the next run, so formulas stay fresh and seasonal.
Named-goat traceability →
Every product batch is tied back to the small herd that produced the milk. Our Herd page tells you which goats are behind your jar, stone, or soak.
the farm Family

Greetings from the team.

"Grandma Della's recipes started this. Every time I smell the lavender hydrosol, I'm back at her kitchen table learning to pour soap."

Lois, Founder

"Mom can't see the labels, but she catches texture problems I'd miss with perfect eyesight. That's not a limitation. That's her edge."

Joshua, Creative Director

"Snow follows me everywhere. Blossom gets into everything. But they're the reason people show up to work, and why our skincare feels the way it does."

Cory, Farm Manager
From the Farm

What we're learning.

Science, stories, and the occasional goat update. How freeze-drying works, what tannins actually do, why your skin cares about the difference. And what Snow did this morning.
